Monique Pinelli has been playing in string quartets since 1988. She received a Bachelor of Music from University of Iowa School of Music and a Masters of Music from UNC Greensboro. Monique has played with Tri-Cities Symphony, Salt Lake Symphony and Greensboro Symphony. While living in Salt Lake City, Monique honed her wedding playing skills as she played for weddings all through the Salt Lake region including Deer Valley, Snowbird and Park City. Since moving to Asheville in 1999, Monique started her Suzuki method teaching studio and founded the Café String Quartet with Elizabeth Terry in 2000.
