Monique Pinelli earned her Bachelor of Music from University of Iowa School of Music and a Master of Music from UNC-Greensboro. Monique has played with Tri-Cities Symphony, Salt Lake Symphony and Greensboro Symphony. While living in Salt Lake City, Monique honed her wedding playing skills as she played for weddings in the Salt Lake City area including Deer Valley, Snowbird and Park City. She currently plays with the Asheville Lyric Opera in addition to free-lancing throughout the Western North Carolina region. Monique’s consistent love for chamber music led her to form Café String Quartet with Elizabeth Terry in 2000. Since moving to Asheville in 1999, she also started her Suzuki Method of Talent Education teaching studio. Monique continues to be happily married with her husband David for over 20 years.
