Monique Pinelli earned her Bachelor of Music from University of Iowa School of Music and her Master of Music from UNC-Greensboro. Monique has played with Tri-Cities Symphony, Greensboro Symphony, Salt Lake Symphony, Asheville Symphony, Brevard Philharmonic and Asheville Lyric Opera. While living in Salt Lake City, Monique honed her wedding music skills playing for ceremonies and receptions in the Salt Lake area including Deer Valley, Snowbird and Park City. In 2000, together with Elizabeth Terry, Monique formed Café String Quartet in Asheville. In addition to playing with Cafe String Quartet, Monique continues to freelance throughout in the WNC region. Monique is happily married with her husband David for over 20 years. Their two sons also enjoy playing music with the violin.
