Monique Pinelli earned her Bachelor of Music from University of Iowa School of Music and her Master of Music from UNC-Greensboro. Her most notable teachers include Leopold LaFosse, David Moskovitz and Rob Zimansky in Geneva, Switzerland. Monique has played with the Tri-Cities, Greensboro, Salt Lake, and Asheville Symphonies, Brevard Philharmonic, and Asheville Lyric Opera. In addition to having a large teaching studio, Monique continues to freelance throughout the WNC region. While living in Salt Lake City, Monique honed her wedding music skills while playing for ceremonies and receptions in the Salt Lake Valley including Deer Valley, Snowbird and Park City. In 2000, together with Elizabeth Terry, Café String Quartet was formed from the idea that we could provide beautiful celebration music with excellent service while playing music with our friends. Monique continues to celebrate marriage with her husband David for over 25 years.
